Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading and using TukiWatch, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. The App

TukiWatch is a mobile application that aggregates publicly available streaming data from third-party platforms. It resolves stream URLs and checks live status through a backend API. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

3. Third-Party Platforms

TukiWatch accesses content from Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms. We do not host, control, or endorse any of this content. Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not liable for any issues arising from your interaction with those platforms.

4. Ad-Free Viewing

TukiWatch provides ad-free viewing where technically feasible (e.g., via Twitch Turbo token configuration). We cannot guarantee ad-free playback on all platforms or for all content. The presence or absence of ads is determined by the underlying streaming platform.

5. Self-Hosted Backends

You may connect TukiWatch to a self-hosted API instance. We are not responsible for the operation, reliability, or content processing of your own backend. You are solely responsible for configuring and maintaining it.

6. Open Source

TukiWatch draws inspiration from open-source projects like Streamlink and streamwatch-cli. The backend API is open source. The mobile app may not be fully open at all times. Community contributions are welcome via GitHub.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TukiWatch and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months (which is zero, since the app is free).

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
